Reading Plumbing and Heating is a small family run business. We carry out all aspects of plumbing and heating services and pride ourselves with a very high standard of workmanship, providing a good reliable service at a fair price.

We are happy to give advice with FREE no obligation quotations. We specialise in replacement boilers and heating controls, but also carry out complete bathroom installations from start to finish, including tiling etc. Reading Plumbing and Heating is also interested in all the smaller jobs too!
All our work is guaranteed and fitted to a very high standard.
Excellent Standards
Darren started and completed a 4 year City and Guilds Plumbing Apprenticeship in 1985 at Reading Technical College, with a small company in Henley on Thames and now has over 38 years of experience.
On our travels, we come across a lot of poor workmanship that has been carried out to a very low standard, by plumbers that have been on short courses and have little experience, which can be very costly to the homeowner. If you click on the ‘Qualifications’ tab, you can see our certificates with the dates to show that Darren now has many years of valuable experience as a Plumber.
We also have our son Charlie on board, who joined us as an apprentice in 2016 and is now a qualified plumbing, heating and Gas Safe engineer working alongside Darren, as well as the latest addition to our family business, our nephew Archie who started his apprenticeship with us September 2023.
Reading Plumbing and Heating is Gas Safe Registered (formerly Corgi) and in more recent years Darren and Charlie have completed Energy Efficiency courses.
